Fungal Nail Treatment

Fungal Nails – (Onychomycosis) are as the name suggests, an infection of the nail caused by a fungus. The fungus usually lives under the nail and is quite hard to treat for this reason. Nails become discoloured and thick making it difficult for any medications applied to the nail to reach the fungus.

The important thing with fungal nail infections is to treat them early as it is almost impossible to treat the infection once the nail root has been infected.
