Following a biomechanical and gait assessment, your All Ages Podiatry Podiatrist will take a cast or 3D scan of both feet.
The Podiatrist will then prescribe a suitable orthotic. This may involve realigning the joints into the optimal position, re-distributing pressure or could involve off-loading areas of pain or concern.
Orthotics can be made from a rigid material, milled from a solid state, 3D printed or can be made from a softer material called Ethyl Vinyl Acetate. This will depend on what function the orthotics need to serve.
