Funding options for Podiatry Care
Department of Veterans Affairs
Gold Card
Veterans on a Gold Card are Bulk Billed, a referral from your doctor is required, All Ages Podiatry must be listed on the referral.
White Card
Veterans on a White Card must have approval from the Department of Veterans Affairs prior to treatment.
Medicare
Allied Health Medicare Referrals
Patients with chronic health conditions may be eligible for Medicare funding. These Allied Health Medicare Referrals are initiated by your GP and can be made out for up to five consultations. Speak with your GP for more information or

Follow – up Allied Health Services for people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Decent.
People of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Decent may be elibible for funding towards podiatry care. A maximum of five (5) allied health services are available per patient each calendar year. This is in addition to allied health services available to eligible patients with chronic disease under MBS items 10950-10970.
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
If you are eligible for CHSP services you will be expected to pay your provider for the services you receive at a subsidised rate, if you can afford to. You don’t need a financial assessment and there is only one fee per service and no exit costs. Service providers will charge different amounts for their services. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Patients covered under the NDIS can use their funding for podiatry. All Ages podiatry currently provide services to Plan Managed and Private Managed NDIS patients.
Health Funds
Depending on the health fund and your level of cover, you may be able to claim all or a portion of the podiatry costs. Check with your individual fund for your personal level of cover. All Ages Podiatry do have HICAPS terminals to assist with claiming.
